Today
I touched you
dear love.

Your breath,
did it pause
for a moment,
wondering
at the music
that shimmered?

Somewhere,
perhaps here -
lips broke
into a smile
of pure delight...

Searching eyes
washed every sight.
They saw
a miracle
unfold;
I let my lover
escape!

Unbounded
in joy
unshackled
I danced
Was it you I set free
or did a rebirth
take place this day?
